Do you serve food? We utilize the Bring Your Own concept when it comes to food. There are many options available for take-out or delivery as well, so feel free to indulge in Cambridge's culinary options during your visit to Lamp. We also offer a selection of free snacks (goldfish, pretzels, peanuts, etc.) in the taproom, and often have pop-up food events during evening hours.
Do you have gluten-free options? We are only allowed to serve what we brew on premise, and therefore we do not have gluten-free alcoholic options. We do have housemade sodas, kombucha, and cold-brew on tap for our gluten-free friends.
Do you allow outside alcohol? While we do allow outside food to be brought in, we cannot allow alcoholic beverages of any kind to be brought into our brewery & taproom. This includes wine, beer, and spirits, and is against our licensing and permitting agreements.
Are you kid friendly? While Lamplighter is a kid friendly establishment, we ask that you use your best judgement when planning a visit with children. At 7pm, we begin to follow a strict 21+ policy.
Are you dog friendly? We love our furry friends, but unfortunately MA health code won't permit them in the taproom since we have a fully functional kitchen. Pups are welcome to come into the brewery retail area if you're just grabbing beer to go, but they cannot join you in the taproom.
Can you fill growlers from other breweries? In accordance with MA state law, we do not currently fill any growlers that are not our own. We also do not allow filled growlers and cans to be consumed on premise.
Do you take reservations in the taproom? We do not - no exceptions. We maintain a first-come first-serve basis when it comes to seating at Lamplighter. If you're interested in bringing a large party to Lamplighter during our busy hours, please consider arranging a private tasting in the brewery. Do you have parking? We do not have dedicated parking, but there are metered and non-metered spots along Broadway. As Cambridge parking is always a bit of a gamble, we also encourage you to bike, walk, Uber/Lyft, or use public transportation. We are half a mile from both the Central and Kendall Red Line T Stops, and directly along the Broadway bus route.
