What's On Tap - July 25, 2017

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Here’s what’s happening at Lamp this week:

Caw Caw: Two of our favorite beers make their return to the taproom this Friday. Flying in first is Birds Of A Feather, an IPA brewed with Mosaic, Columbus, and Citra hops.

Tasting notes for this New England-style beaut include spruce, blueberry, peach, and lemongrass. 6.8% ABV.

Then, put your lighters up for Lit, our double Belgian-Style Witbier brewed with coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, and lavender. Wheat and soft spice flavors are the stars here, as this beer is creamy, citrusy, and finishes with a wave of Belgian zest. 6.8% ABV.

Both beers will be available on draft and in cans this Friday, July 28, at 5 p.m.

Roll Call: Rabbit Rabbit has hopped onward, but there’s plenty more available in our to-go fridge this week:

  • Éponine (Belgian blond aged in Brett-inoculated barrels)
  • So Much For Subtlety (rotating double IPA w/ Idaho 7 this time)
  • Sound + Vision (rotating kettle sour w/ passion fruit this time)
  • Stardust (IPA w/ Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic, and Azacca)

Growler options this week are Metric Systems, Group Theory, and Werewolves. For a full list of what’s pouring, peep the Beer page.

Shuck Yeah: Island Creek Oysters will be on-site this Thursday! The shucking starts at 5 p.m., and will go until you crazy kids eat it all.

Southern Comforts: This week marks the last Friday in July, so our friends at The Porch will be hanging out in the taproom! Homestyle barbecue and a feast of fixin’s will be served from 6-9 p.m.

Last but not least, we’re thrilled to say that construction on our new back taproom is officially underway! The hope is to have it finished and open later this fall. We’ll have plenty of pictures and updates to share before then, though, so stay tuned!

Until next week,
