What's On Tap - July 11th, 2017

Hey friends! Alex here. Check out what’s happening at the brewery this week:

Grace & Virtue: Please welcome Lady Knox to our roster! This American pale ale is a reliable summer sipper, with flavors of pink grapefruit and honeydew, and a sessionable 5% ABV. The name pays homage to Lucy Knox, an intelligent and resolute heroine of the American Revolution.

Lady Knox is a draft-only release, so come kick it with us at the taproom and enjoy a few of ‘em over trivia tonight, or cheese boards tomorrow.

Roll Call: Cuppa cans are caput, but there’s still plenty available to-go this week:

  • Éponine (Belgian blond aged in Brett-inoculated barrels)

  • Lucid Nonsense (oat IPA w/ El Dorado and Centennial)

  • Rabbit Rabbit (double IPA w/ Citra, Amarillo, and Idaho 7)

  • Sound + Vision (rotating kettle sour w/ passionfruit this time)

Growler options this week are Watt, Group Theory, Werewolves, and Ele. For a full list of what’s pouring, peep the Beer page.

Signs Point North: We’ll be pouring drinks alongside Bantam Cider at this week’s North Point Nights concert! The Family Township and Sun Parade will be playing some tunes, and Stoked Pizza and Boston Barbecue will be on-site for grub. The show ends around 8:30, too, so after-party at Lamp?

Poke Pals: Manoa Poke is setting up shop this Friday, from 6-9 p.m., to dish some island eats at the taproom!

Snap, Crackle, Pop: Krispee will be in the taproom this Sunday, from 4-7 p.m., to serve its artisan Rice Krispie treats and ice cream sandwiches. In case you needed more of a reason to stop by, the marshmallow sauce is made with our beer. Talk about a treat.

If you haven’t snagged tickets for the Boston Beer and Barbecue Festival this weekend, you should really get on that. A bunch of local pitmasters, New England breweries, and beer enthusiasts will be meeting up at the Cyclorama in South Boston to celebrate their love for all things smoked and sudsy. Also, we’ll be there! Tickets seem to be going fast, so start making moves if you wanna join.

Lastly, ICYMI, we’re throwing a Christmas In July bash in a few weeks! On Monday, July 24, come party like it’s December with festive cookies, Christmas jams, and the return of Blitzen, our holiday strong ale. Tickets are $10, and include a free round and the chance to celebrate a ridiculous holiday with us.

Until next week,
