What's On Tap - June 13th, 2017

Hello! Alex again. Here’s what’s on tap at the brewery this week:

Cans on Cans: Fresh Birds Of A Feather cans are flocking to the taproom on Friday! This New England IPA is smooth and hazy, with flavors of spruce, mango, and blueberry.

Also making its proud return is Pressure Drop, our hoppy pale ale. Given the sweltering weather outside, it couldn’t have come at a better time: This ale is crisp and easy-drinking, with apricot and melon notes from the hops. Both beers will be available on draft and in cans this Friday, June 16, at 5 p.m.

Roll Call: Sound + Vision cans and Astral Weeks bottles are gone (for now), but we still have a good amount of Chief Hopper, Cuppa, and So Much For Subtlety cans! Growler options this week include Werewolves, Watchman, Ele, and Group Theory. Also on in the taproom is a fresh batch of Metric Systems, our German-style sour ale. For a full list of what’s available at the taproom, peep our Beer page.

Trivia Tuesdays: What takes place every Tuesday night, from 8-10 p.m., and could score you gift cards and free beer? No using your phones.

Cheesy Wednesdays: Build your own cheese flight every Wednesday in the taproom, from 5-9 p.m.! Every week we feature different cheeses from across the globe, courtesy of our friends at Formaggio Kitchen. Each board also comes with a few snacks and sides, as well as crackers made from our own spent brewing grain.

Southern Comfort: Pulled pork. Brisket. Mac and cheese. The Porch is bringing it all to the taproom this Thursday, from 6-9 p.m.

Wicked Twisted Pretzels: Still for sale every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Getchu’ one!

Lastly, we need to talk about unmarked growlers. A few weeks back, the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) sent out an advisory stating that breweries could now fill blank growlers. We’ve received a ton of calls and questions wondering if we would start doing just that. The short answer is yes, but under the following conditions:

  • We will only fill non-branded 32oz or 64oz growlers, of any material

  • We will not fill blank growlers unless they are one of the above two sizes

  • We still can’t fill growlers from other breweries

  • We still won’t fill dirty growlers

Still waiting on the return of Rabbit Rabbit? We’ll have some terrific news for you soon.

Until then,
Alex
